There are a lot of baked semolina recipes out there Harissa / Basbousa, Suji Halva etc… These baked squares, however are the easiest things you can whip up in just 5 minutes and bake for 30 minutes and enjoy! You can sprinkle your choice of flaked/ crushed nuts like Almonds or Pistachio on top before baking. I have made them plain. MAKE THEM TODAY – they are that easy. Ingredients:
- ½ cup semolina / suji / rava
- ½ cup or a bit less coconut milk powder
- ½ cup or a bit less powdered sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg at room temperature
- ¼ cup plus 1 Tbsp Vegetable / Sunflower Oil
- 1 tin Nestle Cream (170 gms)
